Featuring keynote address by Theresia Thylin

Anna Theresia ThylinKeynote speaker Theresia Thylin is the Programme Specialist with the United Nations Trust Fund to End Violence against Women. Ms. Thylin is responsible for the oversight of the Fund’s work on addressing Violence against Women and Girls in Conflict, Post-conflict and Transitional Settings.  Before joining the UN Trust Fund Secretariat in New York, she worked for the Colombian Presidential Agency for Reintegration of Ex-combatants from illegal armed groups. She has also served the United Nations Regional Centre for Peace, Disarmament and Development in Latin America and the Caribbean (UN-LiREC) in Peru, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for the Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in Jordan, and civil society and women’s organizations in Sweden. Ms. Thylin is a Swedish national and holds a Master degree in social science from the University of Lund in Sweden.
